Valley-Fill Aquifers: A less productive example of a valley fill aquifer is the Ischua/Olean Creek Aquifer, located north of Olean.  The underlying bedrock valley is narrower than that of the Corning Aquifer, and the outwash sediments not extensive.  Nevertheless, these small valley fill aquifers supply all of the communities in the region with drinking water.
