Solve problem 9-1 on page 179 of Winter (2001) using equation 9-8 on page 160.  Use an Excel spreadsheet to solve the problem but only turn in the results of your calculations as answers to the question parts a, b, c, and d.  Your work should be submitted to your Teaching Assistant.
